Wonago Research site

In the center, there are two permanent coffee plantations. One of them is the Tumata Chiracha Permanent Coffee Research site, situated in the Wonago district. It covers an area of 2 hectares and was established in 2022. This research site has nine different varieties of coffee, which have been strategically planted in blocks to facilitate sustainable research activities. These activities encompass agronomy, plant protection, and species research.

Kochore Research site

The field is located in Kochore District, near the town of Chelelektu, and its total area is 1 ha. It was previously covered with coffee plantations. In 2015, half a hectare (0.5 ha) of coffee plantations were uprooted and replaced with new varieties of coffee.
